The congress Welcome Reception will be held in/at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre on Sunday, 27 May 2012, allowing delegates to familiarize themselves with the Congress venue. The Welcome Reception will include addresses from the President of the International Child Neurology Association, the President of the Asian and Oceanian Child Neurology Association and the President of the Australia and New Zealand Child Neurology Society. A traditional Australian welcome to the country will be performed and congress attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy canapés and drinks in a relaxing environment with colleagues from around the world.

The Gala Dinner will be the social highlight of the congress. The Gala Dinner will be held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre on Thursday 31 May 2012. The dinner will be a great opportunity for delegates to enjoy the Australian fine dining experience, whilst also networking with colleagues and renewing acquaintances. The Gala Dinner will be accompanied by a spectacular evening of entertainment that will showcase the uniqueness of Australian culture.
