The AOCNA is a non profit organisation that was first established in 1983 to improve neurological medical services to the children of the region. Half of the worlds’ children live within the region and are widely dispersed geographically. Child Neurologists in the region are few. The formation of AOCNA and subsequently ten successful congresses has supported and promoted the interests of child neurological services in the region. The Australia and New Zealand Child Neurology Society (ANZCNS) is a collaborative group of medical professionals in Australia and New Zealand who are working in the field of paediatric neurology or in allied neurosciences. The organization aims to promote the best possible care for children with neurological disease by fostering education and training of those who care for children with neurological diseases, advancing neuropaediatric research and promoting and monitoring standards of care for children with neurological disease. ICMS Travel, as the official housing bureau for the Congress, has been able to secure discounted accommodation rates at selected hotels. Reservations need to be made before Friday, 20 April 2012. The room rates are per night and do not include breakfast. Accommodation will be allocated in order of receipt of bookings and payment.
Please indicate on your registration form your estimated time of arrival to the hotel. Check-in time is usually from 14:00. Should you wish to guarantee your room is ready before the hotel check-in time, it is recommended that you book and pay for the room for the evening prior to your arrival. Failure to advise your arrival time may mean that your room will be released.
To secure your reservation a deposit equivalent to one night's room tariff is required. If paying by credit card, your details will be passed onto the hotel as a guarantee. The hotel may not initially deduct a deposit payment from your credit card but may charge your full payment at the time of checkout. The hotel may charge a processing fee on payments by credit card. The accommodation deposit (equivalent to one night's accommodation at the Congress rate) will be forfeited for all cancellations received after Friday, 20 April 2012 or if the room is not occupied on the advised date of arrival. The venue’s own terms and conditions in relation to cancellations will apply and the cost of this will be borne by the delegate. The Congress Office cannot guarantee new bookings or amendments to existing bookings after Friday, 20 April 2012.
