Invitation from the Chairman of the Organising Committee

On behalf of the Organizing Committee and the Australia and New Zealand Child Neurology Society, it is our pleasure to invite you to the Joint 12th ICNC and 11th AOCCN. This is the third occasion that a joint congress has been held and we are pleased to be hosting the congress in Brisbane, Australia.

ICNA and AOCNA are closely linked in their aim to improve the quality of care for children with neurological diseases, by promoting high quality training and providing support for this in developing countries. This is an exciting time for child neurologists with rapid expansion and significant developments in paediatric neurosciences. The joint congress will provide a great opportunity to collaborate in bringing these advances in child neurology to all areas of the world.

We invite you to enjoy the scientific and social content of the congress.

Invitation from the President of the International Child Neurology Association

It is my distinct honor, on behalf of the International Child Neurology Association, to invite you to register for the 12th International Child Neurology Congress to be held in Brisbane, Australia during May 2012.

The Congress will be held jointly with the 11th Asian and Oceanian Congress of Child Neurology, and promises to attract a large international audience. As in the past congresses, the Scientific Program will be of the highest caliber, emphasizing not only the latest developments and advances in child neurology, but also a review of current standard of care in the practice of child neurology. Participants from all over the world will be able to engage in collegial exchange of ideas in a friendly and warm atmosphere.

An attractive socio-cultural program is also being planned, and participants and their families will be able to enjoy both the diversity and uniqueness that Australia has to offer. Therefore, it is with great enthusiasm that we urge you to join us in Brisbane, May 2012 in what we anticipate to be a memorable scientific, academic and social experience.

Invitation from the President of Asian and Oceanian Child Neurology Association

On behalf of the Asian and Oceanian Child Neurology Association, I would like to invite all of you to the con-joint meeting of the 12th ICNC/11th AOCCN in Brisbane in 2012.

Since its foundation in 1983, AOCNA has been fostering the study and dissemination of knowledge in all aspects of child neurology, particularly in the Asian and Oceanian regions, and holding Congresses approximately every two years.

It is our pleasure that the memorial 11th AOCCN in Brisbane will be the first Congress in the Ocenian region, and the third con-joint meeting with ICNC following Tokyo and Beijing.

It is hoped that the ICNA members and AOCNA members from 25 Asian and Oceanian countries will meet together in Brisbane and deepen not only our understanding in child neurology but our friendship and cooperation.
